About the role

We are offering a consistent 5-day per week position responsible for the end-of-day or shift deep-clean of our production facilities, kitchen equipment, retail area, and staff spaces.

This is a hands-on cleaning position suited to someone with proven professional cleaning experience, robust attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently without compromising standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Deep cleaning and sanitising bakery equipment, benches, ovens, floors, and food preparation areas.





- Dishwashing, cleaning trays, racks, mixing bowls, and specialized baking utensils.

- Waste management, recycling disposal, and deep floor cleaning (sweeping, scrubbing, mopping).

- Ensuring complete compliance with local council health regulations and food safety standards.

- Maintaining inventory stock levels of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment.

About You

- Proven Experience: Prior commercial cleaning experience—ideally within a bakery, commercial kitchen, hospitality venue, or food production facility is essential.

- Attention to Detail: Meticulous standards when it comes to grease, flour dust, sanitisation, and food hygiene requirements.

- Reliable & Self-Motivated: Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a close-knit team.

- Physical Fitness: Comfortable with active physical work (lifting, scrubbing, bending, standing for extended periods).

- Location: Based in or near Port Macquarie with reliable transport.
