As a Claims Consultant, your primary focus will be reviewing, assessing and processing a high volume of health insurance claims while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and quality standards. You will investigate claim submissions, identify missing or incomplete information, and communicate clearly with members to assist in the timely resolution of their claims.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to member enquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Assess and process health insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
- Provide clear guidance on health insurance policies, products and claims outcomes.

- Location: Docklands, Melbourne
- Hybrid Working Model: This role requires full-time attendance in our Docklands office for approximately the first six weeks, covering training and consolidation. Once training is completed and competency and performance requirements are met, employees will transition to a hybrid arrangement with 2 office days per week in office.
- Operating Hours: Rotating roster,



Monday to Friday between 8:30am and 6:00pm.
- Permanent Full-Time Position: 38 paid hours per week.
- Pay Rate: $29.45 per hour plus superannuation and leave entitlements.
- Training Rate: $27.08 Per hour for first two weeks

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience in a customer service, administration or contact centre environment is highly regarded.
- Previous experience in a regulated industry such as insurance, finance or healthcare is highly regarded.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid attention to detail with proven administrative and data entry accuracy.
- Ability to explain complex information clearly and confidently to customers.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and sound judgement.
