We are seeking an experienced Principal Project Officer to lead a range of important governance, compliance, business continuity and organisational establishment initiatives.
This is a senior project role requiring strong strategic thinking, sound judgement and the ability to lead complex work, provide advice and drive delivery across an organisation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead non-financial compliance work, including policies, procedures, internal controls and supporting documentation
- Lead business continuity planning and the development of the internal control framework
- Oversee fleet governance and operations, including policy, controls, utilisation, maintenance and service arrangements
- Provide strategic advice on priority establishment and corporate projects
- Identify and resolve complex issues and drive projects through to deliveryile>
- Work collaboratively across the organisation to develop practical and effective governance and operational arrangements
About You:
- Extensive experience leading complex projects, ideally within a government or highly regulated environment
- Strong knowledge of governance, compliance, risk, internal controls and business continuity
- Demonstrated ability to provide strategic advice and resolve complex issues
- Solid stakeholder engagement, influencing and communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to lead multiple priorities and deliver outcomes in a changing environment
