We are seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) Teachersfor permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2027 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
East Victoria Park Primary School is a Level 5 Independent Public School located in the vibrant inner-city suburb of East Victoria Park. Established in 1914, our school has been preparing students for the future for more than a century. The Role
We are ideally seeking enthusiastic and committed teachers who are passionate about contributing to a consistent, collaborative and connected approach to teaching and learning across the school.
Suitable applicants should display the ability to establish a positive, orderly and inclusive classroom environment characterised by high expectations, clear routines, effective classroom management and individualised student support. A commitment to implementing Positive Behaviour Support practices and embedding the school’s CORE values in everyday teaching is highly regarded.
Ideally suitable applicants should possess strong curriculum and pedagogical knowledge, including an understanding of high-impact, evidence-informed teaching practices aligned with the Department of Education’s Quality Teaching Strategy and Teaching for Impact. Experience implementing consistent whole-school teaching practices, using student achievement data to inform planning and differentiation, and collaborating with colleagues through shared planning, assessment, moderation and professional dialogue is highly desirable. For classroom-based roles a knowledge of or experience with Shaping Minds, InitiaLit and Talk for Writing is highly regarded, along with experience implementing structured daily reviews in literacy and numeracy.
