About the role
Join our People team and play a key role play a critical role in delivering high-quality people services that support an exceptional employee experience. Our People Operations team is the operational backbone of the People function, delivering advice and support to employees and leaders, workforce administration, policy governance, HR and payroll systems management, workforce reporting and people programs. As the People Operations Advisor, you will provide trusted operational expertise across the employee lifecycle, ensuring the integrity of people data, employment processes and HR systems while identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, compliance and operational effectiveness. Working closely with the People Operations Manager, Payroll Business Partner and People Coordinator, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our People Operations function, helping to shape and strengthen processes and deliver key people initiatives, including reward, recognition and employee advantages programs. This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity with an immediate start for the right candidate.
In this role you will:
- Deliver high-quality People Operations services across the employee lifecycle while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
- Provide trusted operational advice and guidance to ensure service excellence, accurate employment records, data integrity and compliance across HR and Payroll systems
- Partner with our People Business Partners to ensuring workforce and organisation changes are implemented accurately, compliantly and with a positive employee experience.
- Lead and support the ongoing enhancement of key People programs, including reward,
recognition and benefits initiatives, to improve employee engagement and operational effectiveness
- Prepare workforce insights and people reporting that support informed decision-making and provide meaningful visibility of workforce trends and outcomes.
- Provide cross-functional support across People Operations and Payroll to ensure continuity of service and a positive employee experience.
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in HR operations, advisory or generalist roles, support with qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline and sound knowledge of employment legislation and HR compliance requirements.
- Strong experience working with HRIS and payroll systems, including employee lifecycle management, organisational change administration and the maintenance of accurate employee records and data.
- Strong understanding of people operations, ensuring accurate employee data, compliance and seamless HR service delivery.
- Solutions-focused and able to balance risk, compliance and business needs while delivering practical, people-centred outcomes.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, a collaborative mindset and a passion for coaching, mentoring and supporting continuous improvement.
