Right Climate is seeking an experienced Mechanical Plumber to join our team on a full-time basis at our Hadfield, VIC location. This is a key position within our Air Conditioning & Refrigeration services division, where you will play a vital role in the installation of mechanical systems. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality workmanship whilst maintaining our reputation for reliability and professionalism in the trades and services sector.

Key responsibilities

- Install, mechanical plumbing systems for air conditioning and refrigeration
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics to understand system specifications and requirements
- Ensure all work complies with relevant Australian standards, regulations, and safety requirements
- Maintain accurate records of work completed, including timesheets, job reports, and spare parts usage
- Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget
- Provide professional customer service and communicate clearly with clients regarding work progress and recommendations
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and adhere to workplace health and safety protocols

What we’re looking for

- Trade qualification or apprenticeship in plumbing or mechanical services
- Current licencing and certifications required for mechanical plumbing work in Victoria
- Proven experience working with air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Proficiency in reading technical drawings and interpreting system schematics
- Solid knowledge of Australian plumbing standards and safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail




- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer interactions
- Physical fitness to perform manual tasks and work in various environments
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of workmanship
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required
- Preferred: Experience with commercial or industrial refrigeration systems
