ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re seeking a Merchandise Planner for a full-time permanent role to join our planning team of four.

You’ll play a key role in converting the brand and range strategy into channel-level sales, margin, option, intake and inventory plans; in-season trading recommendations; and provides clear commercial insights from range sign-off through to product exit.

Key responsibilities include:

- Develop annual sales, stock and option plans to achieve sales, margin and inventory KPIs.
- Monitor in-season sales and stock, adjusting forecasts, replenishment and reorders to optimise performance.
- Lead weekly trade analysis across sales, margin, sell-through, GMROI, stock turn and availability.
- Manage finished goods inventory to maintain appropriate stock levels and maximise stock productivity.
- Complete post-season analysis with insights and recommendations to improve future category and product performance.
- Deliver regular sales and stock reporting to support timely commercial decision-making.
- Monitor new product performance, identifying emerging risks and opportunities and recommending action.




- Manage merchandise planning to the critical path, ensuring product availability supports sales and marketing activity.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

- At least 3 to 5 years of merchandise planning or inventory planning experience, ideally in Australian apparel, footwear or omnichannel retail.
- Demonstrated experience across sales, margin, OTB, inventory, options, forecasting, allocation and markdown planning.
- Experience in planning across core and seasonal ranges and multiple channels, including retail and eCommerce; wholesale exposure is desirable.

- Strong numerical reasoning, attention to detail and ability to convert data into clear commercial recommendations.
- Comfortable constructively challenging assumptions and making evidence-based recommendations.
- Highly developed communication skills and an ability to work independently and collaboratively to develop recommendations across multiple channels
