Our Claims Specialists are responsible for having telephone and online based conversations with our members when they need us most.We have a full time position available on a Permanent basis and a 12month Contract/Secondment basis.We offer attractive working hours which is structured as follows:Week 1 - 7.30am - 3.30pm (West Perth Office based)Week 2 - 9.00am - 5.00pm (Working from home)**On a daily basis you will be contributing by:*** Managing an individual caseload of claims through to finalisation* Identify potential recovery action as part of effective claims management* Review quotes and authorise repair costs* Negotiate on settlements for claims* Act as a technical referral point for internal teams* Provide empathy, understanding whilst handling complex conversations* Consistently provide service that exceeds member's expectations* Identify continuous improvement initiatives* Exceptional customer service skills and a high attention to detail* Excellent communication and robust negotiation skills* Ability to gather, collate and present evidence and make informed decisions* Ability to clearly communicate complex processes and decisions to our members* Results orientated mindset* Self-driven and motivated with the ability to work autonomously* Experience in claims lodgement and knowledge of end-to-end claims process desirable* Previous experience working within the financial services industry desirable**What we can offer you:*** A workplace culture where our people feel valued,
