Overview: We are seeking a permanent residential Field Service Technician to join our team based on site at Boggabri Coal, in the Gunnedah Region of NSW.

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Field Service Technician to join our team based on site at Boggabri Coal, in the Gunnedah Region of NSW. This is a residential role, ideally suited to candidates living locally in the region.

Roster – Residential Technician, Boggabri Coal

- 4/5/5/4 pattern(4 days on, 5 days off, 5 days on, 4 days off)
- Day & Night shift rotation
- Start/Finish:Log-on point at Boggabri Coal

Key Responsibilities

- Electrical/ Mechanical diagnosis and repairing of faults on all site machines (Mechanical and Hydraulic fault finding also required).
- Carry out all required major and minor services to site machines as directed.
- Carry out maintenance and component replacements in all areas relative to site responsibilities.
- Complete machine health assessments and appropriate reporting




- Accurate completion of documentation including timesheets, maintenance requests and any site-specific documentation required.

Skills & Experience:

About You

- Trade qualified as Diesel / Mobile Plant Mechanic, holding any of the following:
- Certificate III Mobile Plant Technology
- Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical)
- Certificate III Engineering (Mechanical) Diesel Fitter
- Certificate III Automotive Electrical Technology
- Demonstrated diagnostics and fault-finding knowledge.
- Motivation and excellent communication skills.
- Previous experience in a similar role working with heavy machinery (R9300, R9400 & R9800 Liebherr Excavators).
- A current driver’s licence.
