iCAUR, created by Chery is a is an accessible premium BEV & REEV SUV brand which launched globally at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2025.

iCAUR is designed for drivers who want design, technology, and a premium ownership experience with the ability to accessorise and make it their own.

With a Q2 2027 Australian and New Zealand market launch, the brand occupies a genuine white space — above the volume Chinese entrants, below the traditional luxury set — anchored by the "Born to Play" brand spirit and powered by REEV technology that removes the last barrier to going electric.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Technical Trainer leads technical training capability across the iCAUR dealer network, supporting technicians working on iCAUR's BEV and REEV vehicles. This role plays a key part in ensuring consistent repair quality, strong first-time-fix outcomes, and dealer readiness for new model launches in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

REPORTS TO

National Network Development Manager

KEY WORKING RELATIONSHIPS

- iCAUR HQ team based in both Sydney and Wuhu
- Dealer partners and their service teams and technicians
- External training partners and content developers
- Warranty and technical support teams

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

- Own the national technical training curriculum across the dealer network.
- Plan and deliver classroom, virtual and LMS-based training programs.
- Develop training content for iCAUR's BEV and REEV platforms.




- Coordinate OEM technician certification and accreditation pathways.
- Support technical training readiness for current model launches.
- Coordinate and support the annual skills-based contest.
- Translate field issues and warranty trends into targeted training solutions.
- Manage LMS platforms, training records and compliance reporting.
- Work with external training partners and content developers.
- Measure and report on training effectiveness.

REQUIREMENTS

- Automotive technical background with OEM or dealer network experience.
- Experience in technical training, learning & development, or capability uplift.
- Understanding of modern vehicle systems, including EV and ADAS.
- Comfortable delivering training in both classroom and virtual environments.
- Experience using LMS platforms and digital training tools.
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

TO BE SUCCESSFUL

- A track record of lifting technical capability across a dealer or franchise network.
- Ability to manage multiple new model launches and training priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Comfortable working across BEV and REEV powertrains, with a genuine interest in new-energy vehicle technology.
- Willingness to travel nationally to support the dealer network.
- A passion for new vehicle technology and building training capability from the ground up.
