The Key Account Manager (QLD) is responsible for driving sustainable sales growth, strengthening customer relationships, and expanding our brand presence throughout Queensland. This role combines strategic business development, account management, and market engagement to identify new opportunities, increase customer retention, and maximise revenue growth. Working closely with internal departments including sales, technical support, operations, and customer service, the Key Account Manager will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer outcomes and achieving company growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Develop and execute strategic territory plans to drive revenue and market share growth across Queensland.

Identify, qualify, and convert new business opportunities within the solar and renewable energy sectors.

Expand existing key account customer relationships to increase product penetration and share of wallet.

Build and maintain strong relationships with solar installers, EPCs, electrical contractors, developers, and key industry stakeholders.

Conduct regular customer visits, business reviews, and account planning sessions.

Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation through to account development and ongoing relationship management.

Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and commercial offers in accordance with company guidelines.

Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reporting through CRM systems.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, exhibitions, and networking opportunities.

About you

Proven success in a Business Development, Account Management, or Sales role.





Demonstrated ability to generate new business while growing and retaining existing customer accounts.

Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and influencing skills.

Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and presentation capabilities.

Experience managing sales pipelines and CRM systems.

Results-driven with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and business objectives.

Self-motivated and capable of working independently across a large geographic territory.

Strong planning, organisational, and time management skills.

Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Experience within the solar, renewable energy, electrical, wholesale distribution, or adjacent technical industries is desirable.
