Southern Downs Regional Council – Warwick QLD

In this role, you will be contributing to the sustainable lifecycle management (e.g. planning, acquisition, operations maintenance, etc.) of water and wastewater infrastructure assets. This will include the catchment management, water sources (dams/creeks), water treatment, water distribution and reticulation, and more while meeting excellent customer service standards.

STATUS:

Permanent, Full-time

HOURS OF WORK:

72.5 hours per fortnight | 9-day fortnight

PAY LEVEL:

$3,968.41 - $4,212.28 per fortnight (Level 6)

Plus 12% Superannuation and 17.5% Annual Leave Loading in accordance with Council’s Enterprise Agreement and the relevant Award.

Pay rate dependant on relevant skills and experience.

MANDATORY LICENCES & QUALIFICATIONS

- A Class C (car) licence or greater is required in this role.
- An Occupational Health & Safety Construction Induction Card (White Card), or the ability to obtain.
- Engineering qualification(s) in Civil, Mechanical and/or Electrical disciplines.
- Current RPEQ,



or the ability to achieve RPEQ registration within 12 months of employment.
- Immunisation record indicating Hepatitis A&B; vaccination or immunity; or the ability to be vaccinated.

- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project risk, quality and commissioning management processes.
