Central Melbourne Cardiology is seeking an experienced Medical Secretary/Receptionist to join our team in our Coburg practice. This full-time role will provide administrative and secretarial support to our medical specialists, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our practice.

What you'll be doing

Welcoming and greeting patients, scheduling appointments and managing the patient diary

Handling patient enquiries and providing excellent customer service

Preparing and processing medical correspondence and documentation

Providing administrative support to the medical team as required

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Medical Secretary/Receptionist is desired but not necessary

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with patients, clinician and other staff

Strong administrative and organisational abilities with an eye for detail





Proficient in using medical software systems are desired but not necessary and standard office applications

Ability to work well under pressure and manage competing priorities

A caring and compassionate approach to supporting patients and the medical team
