Permanent full-time | Kew East Office | $58,000 - $62,000 per annum + Super

We currently have over 6,500 choristers training in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney and we're looking for a people-focussed, organised person to work alongside our Events team.

About the Role

Based in our Kew East Head Office, this full-time role supports the smooth administration of AGC's rehearsal and event venues across our six cities. Working closely with the Head of AGC Events and our state-based Venue and Events Coordinators, you'll ensure venue bookings, information, communication and documentation are accurate, organised and up to date.

As the Venue Operations Administrator you will:

- Administrate weekly rehearsal and event venue administration, including contracts, invoices and related documentation.




- Coordinate venue hire communication with venue contacts and internal team members.
- Assist with sourcing suitable venue options and communicating venue changes to our state-based Venue and Events Coordinators.
- Coordinate accurate and timely information when venue arrangements change.
- Maintain venue hire databases, records, venue information and documentation to a high standard.
- Support the Head of AGC Events with outgoing parent communication relating to venues and events.
- Maintain the national AGC calendar, ensuring event and venue information remains accurate and current
- Assist with venue hire compliance requirements and ensure relevant documentation is kept up to date.
- Support venue hire budgeting, invoice tracking, accruals and basic reporting.
- Respond to venue and event-related requests from our city-based teams, escalating questions or concerns when required.
- Follow tasks through to completion and proactively communicate progress, changes or potential issues.
- Provide administrative support and guidance to the Venue & Events team on venue and event-related tasks.
- Contribute positively to our highly collaborative and communicative office environment.
- Share our passion for girls' education and champion the value of performing arts participation.





Qualities that will make you successful:

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate information and documentation.
- Confidence liaising with multiple stakeholders and coordinating information across different teams.
- The ability to build positive and professional stakeholder relationships.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Flexible and responsive, with the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
- Curiosity and sound judgement, including the confidence to ask questions, seek clarification and identify when information may be missing.
- A proactive, highly organised, self-motivated approach to work.
- Intermediate knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- The ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
- Budgeting or financial administration experience (desirable).
- A valid Working with Children Check.
