Co-Conspirators Brewing Company – Brunswick VIC

We're looking for a Bar Manager to join the Co-Conspirators team in Brunswick.

And here's the thing:

You don't need to have been a Bar Manager before.

We're looking for someone with solid hospitality experience who's already a strong team member or supervisor and is ready to take the next step into management.

This is an opportunity to grow into the role , with plenty of support from our Director along the way.

What you'll be doing

You'll lead our front-of-house team and help make sure the brewpub runs brilliantly.

You'll be responsible for:

Leading and supporting the FOH team.

Making sure the venue is organised and ready for service.

Planning ahead and preparing for busy periods and events.

Helping the team consistently deliver great hospitality.

Providing feedback and helping people improve.

Making sure the details don't get missed.

Identifying things that could work better and doing something about them.

Working closely with the Director to improve the venue and develop the team.

It's a small team, so you'll have a big prospect to make your mark .

We're looking for someone who doesn't wait to be told what to do — someone who sees something that needs fixing and gets stuck in.

Organisation is everything

If you're the person who is always thinking three steps ahead, loves a good plan and makes sure everyone knows what they're doing, you'll probably enjoy this role.

We're looking for someone who can take a busy week, an upcoming event and a team of people and turn it into a plan that actually works.

You'll be supported

This is really important to us.





We don't expect you to walk in knowing everything about management.

You'll report directly to our Director, who is highly involved in the business and will provide hands‑on support, coaching and guidance as you develop.

That includes support with:

Managing people.

Giving feedback.

Planning and prioritising.

You'll have someone experienced in your corner — while still having plenty of room to develop your own way of doing things.

Who are we looking for?

You might currently be:

A senior bartender ready for more responsibility.

A hospitality supervisor ready to move into management.

An experienced FOH team member who knows they're ready for the next challenge.

We're looking for someone who is:

Organised. Proactive. Confident. A great communicator. A team player.

Someone who takes initiative, isn't afraid to make a decision, and genuinely cares about getting the details right.

You don't need to be perfect.

You do need to be willing to learn, work hard and help the team perform at its best.

Experience with events, social media or craft beer would be a bonus.
