Swan Hill District Health is seeking a Locum General Medicine Medical Officer to support upcoming General Medicine roster gaps.

This role is ideal for a PGY3+ doctor with recent General Medicine experience who wants crisis-rate locum work in a supportive hospital setting.

You will support ward-based care, patient reviews, clinical documentation, handover and escalation of care where required.

Clinical Environment

- General Medicine Medical Officer role
- Hospital-based locum shifts at Swan Hill District Health

Key Duties

- Support General Medicine ward-based care
- Review and manage patients within scope
- Complete clinical documentation and handover
- Escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Work collaboratively with nursing, allied health and medical teams

Requirements

- PGY3+ doctor
- Recent General Medicine experience
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Current CV and compliance documents as required
