Synergie Australia is seeking an experienced NHVR Fleet Allocator / Controller to join our valued client in Melbourne's Western Suburbs.

This chance is ideal for someone with a strong background in palletised freight operations, fleet allocation, NHVR compliance, and transport coordination. We are looking for a candidate who understands the operational demands of a busy freight network and can confidently coordinate drivers, deliveries, and service outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

- Pay:$80,000 - $86,000 + Super
- Hours: Monday to Friday
- Location: Sunshine, Melbourne
- Employment Type: Permanent Full-Time

What you will be required to do:

You will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination of a busy metropolitan Pick-Up & Delivery fleet servicing palletised freight customer.

- Allocate and coordinate daily driver runs
- Manage fleet utilisation and route efficiency
- Coordinate pickup and delivery operations across Melbourne
- Monitor delivery performance and service levels
- Liaise with drivers, customers, warehouse teams, and operational stakeholders
- Manage transport disruptions and provide practical solutions
- Coordinate priority freight and urgent delivery requirements
- Ensure compliance with NHVR regulations, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), and fatigue management obligations
- Maintain accurate transport documentation and reporting
- Assist in driving operational performance and continuous improvement

To be successful in the role you will:

- Have previous experience as a Fleet Controller,



Fleet Allocator, Dispatcher, or Transport Allocator
- Have worked within the freight transport industry
- Have direct experience managing palletised freight operations
- Have a strong understanding of NHVR requirements (essential)
- Have knowledge of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility (CoR)
- Have experience coordinating drivers and daily fleet movements
- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced transport environment
- Possess strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Have excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Experience with transport systems is advantageous, however practical transport knowledge is more important than software experience
