Manager - Audience and Market Intelligence

Established in 2017, Housing Hub was created to help people with disability find suitable, quality housing and support the development of an effective disability housing market. Originally an initiative of the Summer Foundation, we now operate as a social enterprise.

With thousands of properties listed across Australia, Housing Hub connects housing seekers and housing providers, making it easier for people with disability to find the right home and have choice and control over where they live and who they live with.

About the Role

We are looking for a fractional Audience & Market Intelligence Manager to shape how we understand our market, find practical growth opportunities, and design better customer experiences. The AMI Manager will lead Housing Hub’s audience, market and intelligence capability, and is the organisation’s owner of customer journeys, segmentation and persona delivery

In this role, you will connect hard commercial strategy with real human story. You will size up our markets to show where future growth realistically comes from, while keeping our business strategy deeply rooted in the lived experience of housing seekers, SDA providers, and support networks.

Leading a small, focused team, you’ll set the standard for how data is used across the business and give senior leaders the evidence they need to make confident decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Uncover Real Growth Opportunities: Calculate market size and potential across our products and audiences to show where our future growth will actually come from.
- Guide Business Strategy:

Turn market data and customer feedback into plain-English recommendations for Product and Growth leaders.
- Fix the Customer Journey: Map out how people interact with our website, apps, and services to spot where they get stuck and help teams improve the experience.
- Stay Connected to Real People: Run user groups, consultations, and co-design sessions so our plans are built on real lives, not just assumptions.
- Define Our Products: Keep clear, up-to-date cheat sheets for every product—covering unique value, target audience, pricing, and how we compare to competitors.
- Build Useful Dashboards: Work with our data analyst and tech teams to set up simple, clear reports so the business measures what actually matters.
- Test Before We Build: Partner with Product teams to test and validate new ideas before we invest time and money into them.
- Support Your Team: Lead and mentor the Market Intelligence team using a supportive, coaching approach.
- Protect Customer Privacy: Own all Data and ensure all data is handled ethically, securely, and respectfully.
