Want variety at work? Work with our team on some days, become our breakdown specialist on other days.
What you get

Training on spraybooths, burners and controls from people who've been doing this for over 20 years
All PPE and uniforms supplied. You just bring your own work pants.
Travel to jobs in our vehicles from our Cranbourne West base, so no fuel or wear and tear on your own car driving to sites all over Melbourne.
Overnight stays fully covered
Why a small business?
We're a team of five techs. You'll know everyone, including the owners, and you won't be a number. We can't throw sign-on bonuses around like the big companies. What we can offer is proper training, steady work, and a crew that backs each other up.am in our vehicles to job sites.
About the role
Six months in, you'll be attending breakdowns across client sites with minimal to no supervision — working through a fault systematically, deciding what can be fixed on the spot and what needs to be made safe and escalated, and documenting it properly every time. You don't need prior spraybooth experience; we'll train you on our systems and the relevant standards. What you need on day one is a genuine trade background, sound mechanical judgement, and the self-awareness to know the difference between 'I've got this' and 'I need to call someone'.
Key responsibilities
- Attend and independently diagnose breakdowns on spraybooth extraction, burner,
and electrical/control systems at client sites
- Carry out servicing and maintenance work to a high standard with minimal supervision
- Work through faults logically — decide what can be safely fixed on site and what needs to be made safe and escalated
- Keep detailed job records and photos in our job management system so nothing gets lost between visits
- Travel to client sites across Victoria, with occasional overnight stays (fully covered)
- Help set the standard for less experienced technicians on site
About you
A recognised trade qualification — motor mechanic, diesel/plant mechanic, auto electrician, fitter, or a similar mechanical/electrical trade
Genuine mechanical aptitude and a logical approach to fault-finding, not guesswork
The confidence to try things yourself, balanced with the self-awareness to ask for help when you're genuinely stuck
A quick learner who asks questions rather than assumes
Comfortable working independently in the field
Current driver’s licence
Preferred: White Card
Preferred: EWP ticket
Preferred: Experience with breakdown or fault-finding work in an industrial or field service setting
