As a Hospital Aide, you will play a vital role in assisting the team to deliver high-quality care to rehabilitation patients. Our team works closely together to focus on delivering excellence in healthcare to achieve improved outcomes for our consumers, our workforce, and the Tasmanian community.The RoleHospital Aides are responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, infection prevention, and environmental safety throughout the ward. Their duties include cleaning patient areas, restocking supplies, supporting meal services, transporting equipment, and assisting with general ward requirements. Through their attention to detail and commitment to quality, they help create an environment where patients can receive care safely and comfortably.You will needPrevious experience working within a healthcare environment.Sound literacy and numeracy skills.Knowledge of the principles and practices of infection control.Note: - Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.Details of appointmentPermanent part time, shift worker position, working 56 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.\*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time,
and casual vacancies.Salary$59,668 to $65,185 per annum (Pro rata).
