About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team in the Emergency Department at Deniliquin Hospital. This frontline role is integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients and their families, in a high paced environment. You will be joining our high performing multidisciplinary team who are welcoming, passionate and dedicated to providing essential health care services to our regional community.

Responsibilities

- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient-centred care
- Recognise and respond to clinical changes
- Engage patients-carers and support safe discharge-transfer
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
- Contribute to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
- Maintain professional accountability

About You

- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Completion of a Graduate Nurse Program or equivalent.
- Desirable, 12 months experience in an Emergency department.
- Knowledge and skills to develop and document a plan of care that reflects the identified needs of the patient, with coordinating safe effective and productive discharge planning or transfer.




- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team and respond flexibly to changing clinical priorities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong commitment to person-centred care, cultural safety, and ongoing professional development.
