Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Clinical Pharmacist role based in Melbourne, VIC.

The Clinical

Pharmacist will provide safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications, deliver pharmaceutical care, and offer evidence-based advice to customers and healthcare providers. Daily responsibilities include reviewing prescriptions for clinical appropriateness, counseling patients on medicine use and potential side effects, and performing medication reviews where required.



The role also involves overseeing compounding activities, ensuring compliance with professional standards, and maintaining quality and safety in all pharmacy practice procedures.

The Clinical

Pharmacist will collaborate with the pharmacy team, support inventory and stock management, and contribute to a positive, effective, and customer-centered environment.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated competence in Pharmacy Practice and general Pharmacy operations.
- Strong foundation in Pharmaceutical Care and Medicine, with a focus on patient safety and clinical outcomes.
- Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to counsel diverse patients clearly and respectfully.
- Strong attention to detail, sound clinical judgment, and commitment to ethical, evidence-based practice.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy retail pharmacy setting, including collaboration with pharmacists, technicians, and assistants.
- Experienced in community or retail pharmacy and familiarity with PBS requirements.
