About the role:

Water Corporation is seeking a motivated and highly organised Officer - Projects to join Information and Technology Services (ITS).

In this varied and fast-paced role, you will provide practical business, financial, procurement, people and administrative support across ITS. Working with leaders and teams, you will coordinate day-to-day activities, maintain accurate information and help ITS deliver its services and priorities effectively.

Key responsibilities

- Provide coordinated business and administrative support to ITS leaders, managers and teams.




- Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement and other people-related activities in partnership with People & Capability.
- Support purchasing, procurement, invoice processing, financial administration and related business processes.
- Prepare accurate reports, presentations, correspondence, procedures and other business documentation.
- Coordinate meetings, workshops, team events and related actions and follow-up.
- Maintain records, reporting and shared information so it is current, accurate and easy to use.
- Build effective working relationships across ITS and with corporate teams including Finance, Procurement and People & Capability.
- Support compliance with corporate policies, procedures, governance requirements and agreed ways of working.

What you’ll bring to this role:

There are a few things we’ll look for on your CV. Ideally, you’ll have:

- Experience providing business, administration or coordination support in a complex organisation.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines and requests.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, with confidence working with leaders and a range of stakeholders.
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, correspondence and other business documents.
- Practical knowledge of recruitment, onboarding and employee administration processes.




- Experience supporting procurement, purchasing, invoice processing or financial administration.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and the confidence to learn and work across multiple business systems.
- Good judgement, attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems.
- The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
