The Role

Lyppard is seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead our Townsville operation during an exciting period of growth. With increasing volumes across North Queensland, this role is critical to maintaining the high service standards our customers rely on.

As the senior on-site leader, you will oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, coordinate local resources and act as the key escalation point for operational issues, safety incidents and customer service matters.

This role combines practical operational oversight, people leadership and process improvement, with a clear focus on delivering orders in full and on time.

What You Will Do:

- Lead and develop the team: Provide clear direction, feedback, coaching, performance management and development planning.
- Coordinate daily operations: Prioritise receiving, picking, packing, dispatch and delivery activities to meet service requirements.
- Improve performance: Track agreed KPIs and use operational data and industry best practice to improve productivity, accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain inventory control: Complete physical counts, reconcile stock in the system and escalate discrepancies promptly.
- Oversee compliance: Ensure safety, security, temperature-control, shipping and standard operating procedures are followed.
- Manage resources: Coordinate warehouse equipment, facilities and delivery fleet requirements to support reliable operations.
- Build strong relationships: Communicate clearly with the team and internal and external stakeholders, while maintaining accurate documentation.

What We Are Looking For:

- Warehouse leadership experience: Previous experience leading warehouse, distribution or logistics operations in a supervisory role.




- People leadership: Proven ability to coach, motivate and develop team members while maintaining accountability and performance standards.
- Operational expertise: Strong understanding of warehouse processes, inventory control, dispatch, safety and service delivery.
- Decision-making and problem-solving: Able to prioritise workloads, resolve issues and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Systems and communication: Strong organisational, communication and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Forklift licence: Current forklift licence is essential.
