The Role:

We’re looking for a Technology Governance & Performance Lead to join a leading organization in Brisbane on a long-term contract.

As part of the Technology Capability & Performance function, you’ll lead the governance and performance agenda across a complex Technology environment, providing an end-to-end view of performance, risk and delivery to senior leaders and the Board.

Main Responsibilities:

- Lead Technology performance reporting, covering service health, resilience and key outcomes.
- Develop executive and Board papers, turning complex Technology issues into transparent insights, risks and actions.
- Lead governance across architecture, portfolio, delivery, investment, service, risk and information security.
- Provide oversight of Technology risk, controls and regulatory obligations.
- Establish practical governance standards, frameworks, templates and tools.
- Drive communication, training and adoption of governance practices across Technology.
- Identify opportunities to improve Technology maturity, performance and ways of working.




- Partner with senior stakeholders to support alignment and effective decision-making.

Key skills required

- Significant experience in Technology governance and performance within a complex organisation.
- Experience owning governance frameworks, forums, decision processes and reporting.
- Strong executive and Board-level communication skills.
- Ability to connect Technology performance, risk and operational issues to strategic outcomes.
- Broad understanding across Technology architecture, portfolio, delivery, service management and risk.
- Strong knowledge of Technology governance, risk and control frameworks.
- Experience in a regulated environment such as CPS230
- Practical, outcomes-focused approach with strong influencing and stakeholder skills.
