About the Role
As the Identity Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation, development, maintenance and continual improvement of Teachers Mutual Bank's Identity and Access Management platforms. You will play a key role in designing secure and scalable identity solutions that support user lifecycle management, authentication, governance and privileged access management while ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
Working closely with stakeholders across Technology and Information Security, you'll lead initiatives that strengthen our security posture, improve operational efficiency and deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement and maintain enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions.
- Lead the strategic direction and roadmap for identity services, including Microsoft Entra ID and BeyondTrust.
- Drive automation initiatives to improve service reliability, efficiency and user experience.
- Monitor platform performance, manage incidents and ensure service availability.
- Implement and maintain security controls across IAM and PAM environments.
- Support compliance activities, audits and risk mitigation initiatives.




- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, security and digital workplace teams to deliver secure identity solutions.
- Identify opportunities for continual service improvement and adoption of emerging IAM technologies.

About You
You are a security-focused technology professional with strong hands-on experience across modern identity platforms and access management technologies. You enjoy solving complex problems, driving continuous improvement and working collaboratively across technical and business teams.

You'll Bring

- Experience in Identity and Access Management with a focus on Microsoft Entra ID and Identity Governance solutions.
- Experience supporting privileged access management technologies such as BeyondTrust.
- Strong understanding of SSO, MFA, Zero Trust, user lifecycle management and automated provisioning.
- Experience with authentication technologies and standards including SAML, OIDC and JWT.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, cloud identity platforms and security best practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
- Understanding of regulatory and security frameworks, including NIST and CPS234.

Highly Regarded

- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate or similar IAM certification.
- Exposure to scripting or programming languages such as PowerShell, JavaScript, Java or C#.
- Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix, LDAP, SQL and web services.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
