BOSS Engineering is looking for an ambitious Agricultural Machinery Product Specialist to take ownership of our Western Australian market.
This isn't a role where you'll sit back and wait for enquiries.
We're looking for an agricultural or heavy diesel mechanic who understands machinery from the ground up and has the drive, personality and commercial mindset to turn that knowledge into sales.

The Opportunity:
- Own and develop relationships across your WA territory
- Build strong relationships with agricultural customers and industry contacts
- Develop a strong understanding of each customer's operation, equipment and requirements
- Proactively identify customer needs and opportunities where BOSS products or solutions may add value
- Identify opportunities to introduce customers to additional BOSS products and services
- Support existing customers while identifying opportunities to grow our relationship with them
- Become a trusted product and technology expert for our customers
- Conduct product and field demonstrations
- Provide training, solution consultation and ongoing product support
- Support customers through delivery, setup and implementation
- Troubleshoot issues and work with our engineering and internal teams to find solutions
- Identify and follow up genuine sales opportunities as they arise
- Attend field days, demonstrations and industry events
- Maintain accurate customer and sales activity information through our CRM
- Feed customer and market insights back into the BOSS team to help improve our products and processes
We're looking for someone commercially minded
We're looking for someone who enjoys working with customers, understands machinery and can recognise opportunities to help customers get more from their relationship with BOSS.
You will be someone who:
- Has an agricultural or heavy diesel mechanic background – essential
- Understands agricultural machinery, equipment and technology
- Has a genuine interest in identifying opportunities and helping customers find the right solution
- Is commercially aware and motivated by achieving results
- Is naturally curious about machinery and how it works
- Can build genuine, long-term relationships with customers
- Takes the time to understand a customer's operation and identify where BOSS can add value
- Is comfortable picking up the phone, getting in the ute and talking with customers
- Can confidently demonstrate and explain products to customers
- Can identify opportunities to introduce complementary BOSS products where appropriate
- Is solutions-focused when things don't go to plan
- Can work autonomously and manage a large territory
- Has the confidence to challenge, influence and push for outcomes when required
- Takes ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
Your mechanical background gives you the technical credibility. Your ability to understand customers, identify opportunities and connect them with the right BOSS solutions will determine how far you can take the territory.
