Working alongside the Project Manager and Design/Sales team, you'll turn approved designs and site measurements into accurate, production-ready drawings for cabinet making and joinery projects.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings and production set-outs using Cabinet Vision
- Review plans, site measurements, specifications and selections before releasing jobs to production
- Set out cabinetry, hardware, materials and construction details
- Prepare CNC-ready files and manufacturing information
- Prepare material and hardware lists, place orders and coordinate delivery requirements with suppliers and the Project Manager
- Identify and resolve discrepancies with the Project Manager and Design/Sales team
- Work closely with factory and installation teams to ensure jobs are clearly documented and ready to manufacture
- Manage drawing revisions and maintain accuracy across multiple projects
About you
- Experience using Cabinet Vision for drafting and production set-out
- A strong understanding of cabinet making, joinery construction, hardware and materials
- Ability to interpret architectural plans and site measurements
- Experience preparing material lists and ordering materials and hardware
- Experience with Jobman is highly regarded but not essential
- Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to solving problems
- Valuable communication, organisation and time-management skills
- A cabinet making trade background would be highly regarded
