Are you passionate about making a difference in people's lives and interested in healthcare? Join Metro North Health's Audiology Service as a Clinical Assistant - Audiology and play an important role in supporting hearing screening services for children and families across the community.

About the role

Working alongside experienced Audiologists, you'll provide clinical and administrative support to help deliver community hearing screening programs across Metro North Health locations. This is a rewarding opportunity to gain hands-on experience in allied health while contributing to positive health outcomes for children and their families.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Provide basic education on a defined range of topics to parents, groups of patients and/or staff.
- Contribute to patient health records according to organisational guidelines and legal requirements.
- Ensure Infection Control guidelines are met including cleaning of equipment and toys.
- Undertake administrative duties relating to the Community Hearing Screening Service as required.
- Contribute to the development, and evaluation of information packages and resources using computer software programs under the direction of an Audiologist.
