Are you:
- Someone who loves connecting with older people and are motivated by purpose-driven work in aged care?
- Looking to leave your desk behind and enjoy a role that takes you places?
- Seeking a full-time, fixed term (just shy of 12 months) contract with the possibility of extension?
At ACNA, we believe every resident matters — and we’re looking for compassionate individuals who thrive on variety and being on the move to help us capture the experience of older Australians in Residential Aged Care Homes around Australia!
About the role:
This is a full time, 12 month fixed term contract (with the possibility of extension) for a person based in or around North West Sydney. This is the region of Sydney you will travel to various Residential Aged Care homes to undertake interviews. You will work 76 hours per fornight, 5 days per week.
Reporting to the Team Leader, you will:
- Listen with purpose — conduct face-to-face surveys that give voice to aged care residents, using ACNA’s trusted engagement approach.
- Work on the move — travel between different homes, adapt to changing schedules, and keep things running smoothly, even when plans shift.
- You love driving — the reality of our role is that we spend a lot of time driving between Aged Care Homes and listening to many podcasts, audio books and Taylor Swift (okay, Taylor is not for everyone).
- Capture insights — use our systems to record interviews and ensure accurate, timely data that helps shape better care for older Australians.
- Be part of something bigger — work independently while staying connected to a supportive team that values collaboration and shared learning.
About you:
- Empathetic communicator who loves spending their day connecting with older people.
- Adaptable and flexible — thrives in changing environments and can adjust plans smoothly when needed.
- Detail-oriented and tech-savvy — comfortable using systems to capture data accurately and efficiently.
- Independent yet cooperative — able to work autonomously but really really love being part of a wider team culture.
- Committed to quality and care — understands the importance of safety, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
