We’re looking for an experienced and passionate QSR Restaurant Manager to join an exciting new hospitality brand launching in Sydney and Melbourne.
This is an opportunity to get in early with a brand-new player in the QSR space, backed by a hospitality group with many years of experience across the industry — from casual dining through to premium and fine dining.
We know hospitality. Now we’re bringing that experience into a new, quick-paced QSR concept — and we’re looking for an exceptional operator to help make it a success.
About the Role As Restaurant Manager, you’ll play a key role in bringing the venue to life.
This isn’t a role where you simply inherit an established team and follow an existing playbook. You’ll be involved in opening the venue, building the team, establishing culture, driving operational standards and creating an exceptional guest experience from day one.
You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and performance of the restaurant, while working closely with the broader leadership team to establish the systems, standards and culture that will support future growth.
Key responsibilities

- Lead the restaurant operation across service, people, product and performance
- Be heavily involved in the pre-opening and launch of the venue
- Recruit, train, coach and develop a high-performing restaurant team
- Build a positive, accountable and energetic team culture
- Establish and maintain exceptional QSR operational standards




- Drive speed of service, product quality and customer experience
- Manage labour, rosters, wage costs and restaurant profitability
- Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness and compliance
- Manage stock, ordering, waste and cost controls
- Analyse restaurant performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Lead from the front during busy trading periods
- Develop future leaders within the team
- Work closely with senior management to help shape the operating model as the brand grows

About You We’re looking for someone who knows QSR.
You’ll ideally have several years of experience managing high-volume quick service or fast-casual restaurants and understand what it takes to deliver great food and service consistently in a fast-paced environment.
You’ll also have experience with new venue openings and team building.
You might be someone who has successfully opened multiple QSR venues, helped launch a new concept, or played a key role in building teams and systems during periods of growth.
Most importantly, you’ll be a hands-on leader who genuinely enjoys being on the floor, developing people and making things happen.
You’ll bring:





- Strong QSR or fast-casual restaurant management experience
- Proven experience opening new venues
- Strong recruitment, training and team-building skills
- A track record of developing and retaining great people
- Strong commercial and financial understanding
- Excellent knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards
- Energy, resilience and a genuine passion for hospitality
- A hands-on leadership style
- The ability to work in an environment where not everything has been figured out yet
- A growth mindset and the desire to help build something from the ground up
