Goldenfields Water County Council is seeking a motivated and skilled Fitter/Machinist to join our Production & Services team.
This is a great opportunity to work in a varied, hands-on role supporting the maintenance and reliability of essential water infrastructure across the region.
About the Role
Reporting to the Mechanical Coordinator, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving critical mechanical assets that support our water supply systems. This hands-on role combines workshop-based machining with field-based maintenance and repairs.

About You
- Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)
- Experience with pumps and hydraulic systems
- Solid troubleshooting and machining skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
