About the Opportunity

We are expanding our leadership team across two exceptional hospitality destinations in Potts Point: The Roosevelt and our brand-new venue, Eleanor’s, opening mid-November!

We are recruiting for two Venue Manager roles - one dedicated to taking the lead at The Roosevelt, and one to steer the launch and establishment of Eleanor’s.

Both roles offer an attractive $85,000 – $90,000 base salary, with a generous tip distribution structure that brings your overall earning package to over $100,000 per annum.

About the Venues

- The Roosevelt: An iconic cocktail lounge and restaurant celebrated for immersive table-side service, vintage sophistication, and an exceptional, world-class whisky list.

- Eleanor’s (Opening Mid-November): A sophisticated, intimate new venue focused on curated wine, classic service, and genuine hospitality. You will play a pivotal role in training the launch team, setting service standards, and establishing the venue as a neighbourhood favourite.

Key Responsibilities

- Guest Rapport & Service Excellence: Lead from the floor with warmth and charisma, building authentic relationships with regulars, welcoming current guests, and setting the benchmark for attentive service.

- Floor Leadership: Drive daily service flow with polish and composure, ensuring every guest enjoys a tailored, memorable visit.

- Launch & Onboarding (Eleanor’s): Assist in setting up operational systems, onboarding initial service staff,



and executing a seamless opening period.

- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Roster, train, and inspire floor and bar staff, nurturing a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused team culture.

- Financial & Inventory Oversight: Manage stock control (including oversight of premium spirits and cellar allocations), labour targets, and daily reporting.

- Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to RSA guidelines, health & safety regulations, and licensing conditions.

What We Are Looking For

- Personality First: A natural host with genuine warmth, high emotional intelligence, and a passion for connecting with people.

- Proven experience as a Venue Manager, Assistant Manager, or Senior Supervisor in premium bar or restaurant environments.

- Strong interest or background in premium spirits, particularly whiskies, and curated wine programs.

- New opening experience is a bonus (for Eleanor’s), but strong operational and interpersonal skills are essential for both venues.

- Solid grasp of labour control, floor management, and beverage inventory.

- Full working rights in Australia and a valid NSW RSA certificate.

Salary & Benefits

- Base Salary: $85,000 – $90,000 + Superannuation.

- Earning Potential ($100k+ Total Package): Generous tip-pool distribution consistently takes total annual earnings over $100,000.
