Relining Solutions Pty Ltd is a 100% family-owned and operated company specialising in trenchless sewer rehabilitation, including pipe relining, pipe bursting, high-pressure cleaning and CCTV inspections.
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and practical person to join our team as a Yard & Shed All-Rounder.
This is a hands-on role based at our yard, helping keep our equipment, vehicles, materials and workshop organised, maintained and ready for our crews.
The Role
Your day-to-day duties will include:
- General yard and shed duties
- Keeping the yard, workshop and storage areas clean and organised
- Loading and unloading trucks and trailers
- Preparing equipment and materials for upcoming jobs
- Cleaning, checking and maintaining equipment
- Washing and cleaning trucks, vehicles and machinery
- Checking tools and equipment when crews return from jobs
- Putting equipment away and keeping stock organised
- Assisting crews with loading and preparing for jobs
- Carrying out basic maintenance and minor repairs on trucks, work vehicles and equipment
- Collecting and delivering equipment and materials when required
- General labouring and other duties as required
- Assisting crews on site when needed
- Driving and operating a Combo truck when required
- Keeping track of vehicle registrations, servicing and Certificates of Inspection (COIs)
- Making sure equipment, tools and safety items are kept in date and ready for use
- Helping keep the yard and workshop running efficiently
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
- Has a good understanding of basic maintenance and can carry out minor repairs
- Has a strong work ethic and a positive attitude
- Is physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Is practical and has good common sense
- Can work independently as well as part of a team
- Is organised and pays attention to detail
- Can follow instructions and always works safely
- Has a current HR driver's licence
- Has a White Card
Previous experience in a yard, workshop, construction, civil, transport or similar environment would be an advantage, but we are willing to train the right person.
A forklift licence would also be an advantage.
