The Nutrition & Dietetics trainee performs a range of clinical support activities and on the job skills development while engaged in formal full-time or part-time tertiary studies necessary to acquire the relevant entry level qualification (mandatory) for employment as a Health Practitioner in Queensland.

- Salary range: $39.44 to $46.33 p.h (HP1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Plus Salary Sacrificing options may be available
- Flexible working arrangements might be available in this role
Requirements:
Mandatory qualifications and proof of registration
- To be considered, a trainee must:
- Be enrolled in full time or part time study at an Australian university, in a Nutrition and Dietetics degree whereby graduation from the course provides an entry level qualification mandatory for employment as a Health Practitioner – (Dietitian) in Queensland;
- Have completed at least the 1st year of university studies (evidence of enrolment and successful year completion required).
- Appointment to this position requires proof of enrolment in a recognised tertiary-level Dietetics program, accredited by Dietitians Australia that results in a Dietetics qualification that provides eligibility for the Accredited Practising Dietitian program.
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Screening Check: As a Health Care worker in Queensland Health who engages in risk-assessed roles, you must hold a current disability check (Yellow Card or Yellow Card Exemption) or an NDIS worker screening check, in accordance with Part 5 of the Disability Services Act 2006 (Qld).
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
