About the Role:

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will support the day-to-day operations of the HR Department while helping deliver people initiatives that elevate the experience of our Ladies and Gentlemen.

You will be a trusted and approachable HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building relationships and is passionate about creating meaningful employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support all aspects of HR administration throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Coordinate recruitment activities, candidate management, and onboarding processes.
- Facilitate elements of New Ladies and Gentlemen Orientation and onboarding programs.
- Maintain employee records and HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Support payroll administration and employee data management.
- Assist leaders and associates with HR enquiries, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate TakeCare wellbeing initiatives, recognition activities, and engagement programs.
- Assist with talent reviews, and succession planning support.
- Support compliance audits and employment documentation processes.
- Represent The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne at hospitality schools, networking events, and career fairs.
- Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

You will bring

- Previous Human Resources, Administration or Hospitality experience.
- Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills and confidence with HR systems.
- Knowledge of Australian employment legislation is desirable.
- A positive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service.
