In this role, you'll:
- lead a team of technicians and sub-contractors to the repair, test, and maintain traffic management devices, power and electrical distribution (including High Voltage), tunnel instrumentation (including Hazardous Areas), ventilation and fire and life safety systems to ensure safe operation of tunnel assets.
- provide leadership to a group of traffic signal technicians, whilst maintaining a high degree of technical knowledge which you will use to develop and mentor your team
- monitor fault records and field repairs of equipment and provide guidance to the maintenance plans and fault patterns of assets.
This is a Full-Time Permanent position, based at in our Coffs Harbour Bypass Tunnels Team in Coffs Harbour and will require regular travel throughout the North Region For more information on this position and business unit, view the position description and information pack About you To be successful in this role, you will have the following:
- Current NSW Fair Trading Electrical Supervisors certificate or equivalent
- Current and valid Australian motor vehicle driver license and be willing to travel on occasion
- Knowledge and experience in tunnel or industrial maintenance practices.
- Leadership experience, whether informal or formal, is ideal
- Availability to assist in overtime-callouts (emergency situations) and be part of an on-call roster.
- Experience in undertaking data collection from field equipment.
- Experience in calibration or testing of electronic equipment.
- Experience in the management of electronic computerised maintenance management systems.
- Proven problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and identify the nature of computer problems
- Have advanced communicate skills and experience working collaboratively with people at all levels to motivate and influence and build key relations with a wide range of clients and internal and external stakeholders.
- Be solutions-focussed and contribute to a positive workplace culture to inspire your team to deliver customer-centred projects
