About The Role

PPS Water Group is seeking an experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance and quality control across our site-based water infrastructure projects.

Working closely with project teams, client representatives, engineers, supervisors and subcontractors, you will ensure quality requirements are met across HDPE pipeline installation, civil works and structural, mechanical and piping (SMP) activities.

You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining project quality systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards, managing non-conformances, and leading quality inspections and audits. You will also lead and mentor a QC Site Inspector, supporting a strong culture of quality, accountability and continuous improvement across site operations.

Key Responsibilities





- Oversee quality assurance and quality control across HDPE, civil and SMP works.
- Develop and implement monitoring systems the compilation of quality documentation
- Maintain the Quality Management System in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2016 requirements.
- Investigate and close out Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Corrective Action Reports (CARs), including corrective and preventative actions.
- Conduct quality audits and inspections of project activities, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Work collaboratively with client representatives and engineers to resolve quality issues and maintain project compliance.
- Ensure systems and processes are being utilised by project teams to maintain accurate quality documentation, inspection records and project registers.

About You

- Minimum of 5 years' site-based experience, including at least 3 years in a senior quality role.
- Experience in the mining, resources or water infrastructure sectors is highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in pipeline, civil, SMP and quality systems and processes.
- Proven experience in the development of ITP’s and ITR’s.
- Experience maintaining quality management systems in accordance with AS/NZS ISO 9001:2016.




- Experience with material verification, certificates of conformance and material test records.
- Experience conducting quality audits and working directly with project stakeholders.
- Proven leadership skills, including the ability to mentor and support site-based personnel.
- Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
