Suzy’s is busy, bold and a little bit cheeky — and we’re looking for a Section Waiter who can keep up.

We’re a high-volume hospitality venue where great food is only half the experience. We’re here to create an atmosphere, make people feel welcome and give our guests a reason to come back.

We’re looking for someone who knows how to look after a section, read a table and keep things moving when service gets busy. Someone who can make guests feel genuinely welcome, stay one step ahead and bring a little personality to every interaction.

THE ROLE

As a Section Waiter, you’ll take ownership of your allocated section and be responsible for delivering a consistently high level of service from the moment your guests arrive until they leave.

You’ll be responsible for:

- Welcoming guests with a warm, confident and genuine approach
- Taking accurate food and beverage orders
- Demonstrating strong knowledge of the menu and confidently answering guest questions
- Making recommendations and identifying opportunities to upsell
- Ensuring food and drinks are delivered to the correct tables efficiently and professionally
- Checking back with guests at the right time to ensure everything is exactly as it should be
- Anticipating guest needs rather than waiting to be asked
- Maintaining a clean, organised and well-presented section throughout service
- Clearing and resetting tables efficiently
- Processing payments accurately
- Communicating effectively with the kitchen and wider FOH team
- Assisting teammates and jumping in wherever needed during busy periods
- Supporting opening and closing duties
- Ensuring every guest leaves with a positive impression of Suzy’s

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We’re looking for someone who gets hospitality.





Someone who can confidently manage their section, keep their head when the restaurant is pumping and still give every table the attention they deserve.

You’ll ideally have:

- Previous experience as a Waiter or Section Waiter in a busy restaurant environment
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage service
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confidence speaking with guests and making recommendations
- The ability to multitask and prioritise during busy services
- Strong attention to detail
- A professional and well-presented appearance
- A positive, energetic and team-focused attitude
- The ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences
- Availability to work across weekends, evenings and public holidays as required
