Welcome to Kool Beanz Bulldogs Footscray – where early learning meets play, purpose and community.
Located within Footscray’s recent hospital precinct, Kool Beanz Bulldogs is our very first childcare and kindergarten centre in Victoria and it’s unlike anything else in the state. Family-owned and operated, our purpose-built rooftop centre welcomes families from Footscray and surrounding communities, offering care for up to 90 children aged six weeks to six years in a warm, inclusive and inspiring environment.

Our play-based programs go beyond school readiness, nurturing children’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development while building confidence, resilience and a genuine love of learning. The centre features five thoughtfully designed classrooms, alongside dedicated learning spaces including an art studio, library, Lego room and STEM room.

A true standout is our expansive rooftop outdoor environment, designed to inspire movement, imagination and connection with nature. Children enjoy a mini-AFL football field, water creek play, zen garden, vegetable patch, climbing and swing areas, and a beautiful bird aviary. An ever-changing space that supports sensory and inclusive play.

Delivered in partnership with the Western Bulldogs AFL Club, Kool Beanz Bulldogs celebrates teamwork, community and healthy, active lifestyles. Our caring educators are the heart of our centre, building strong relationships with children and families to ensure every child feels safe, supported and celebrated. We are looking for an Early Childhood Teacher who understands the crucial role that culture and community play in a child's development. What We Are Looking For:

- Applicants must hold a Grad Diploma / Bachelor in Early Childhood Education as the minimum education requirement for this position.
- A bachelor's degree in Education / Graduate Diploma (ECE)
- Current First Aid, CPR, and Asthma/Anaphylaxis Certificates
- Paid Working with Children Blue Card
- 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Candidates must have 2 years of experience specifically as an Early Childhood
- Teacher qualified professional
- Ability to craft and implement engaging,

- A commitment to guiding children in developing positive behavior
- Active participation in children's play while ensuring their safety
- Strong relationships with families to enhance each child's experience
- A positive, enthusiastic attitude that radiates energy
