ACD Trade is one of Australia's largest air-conditioning wholesalers, with 13 branches located across QLD, WA & NT. As part of the Beijer Ref Australia Group, we operate more than 150 branches nationwide and employ approximately 850 people.

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Internal Sales / Customer Service Representative to join our team at our Molendinar branch.

About the role n

Reporting to the Branch Manager, your responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Building strong relationships with customers face-to-face, over the phone and via email.
n
- Growing sales through exceptional customer service, product knowledge and customer engagement.
n
- Assisting customers via the trade counter, phone and email enquiries.
n
- Providing technical product support (full training provided).
n
- Picking and packing trade orders.
n
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of deliveries when required.
n
- Developing relationships with existing and prospective customers to identify opportunities for business growth.Proactively reaching out to customers to build pipeline opportunities, re-engage inactive accounts and promote products and services.
n




- Following up quotations and customer enquiries to maximise sales opportunities.
n
- Building customer relationships based on trust, reliability and excellent communication.
n
- Processing sales orders, quotations, invoices, purchase orders and stock transfers.
n
- Supporting the day-to-day operations of the branch.
n

Ideally, you will have: n

n
- Previous experience in customer service, internal sales, trade sales, wholesale, manufacturing or distribution environments.
n
- Experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, industrial or trade wholesale businesses will be highly regarded.
n
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
n
- A proactive approach to customer engagement, business development and identifying sales opportunities.
n
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
n
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
n
- Proficiency in computer systems and administrative tasks.
n
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
n
- Previous leadership or mentoring experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
n
