Job Description
Sydney Olympic Park, New South Wales 2127, Australia
Full-time Contract Associate Description Social Media Producer - Maternity Cover (12 months fixed term) n
Run the feed that fuels Australia's off-grid addiction.
n
This isn't about sitting in an office scheduling corporate graphics three weeks in advance. This isn't about generic stock images.
n
And it's definitely not for someone who just scrolls without understanding what actually stops people in their tracks.
n
At 4WD Supacentre, home of Adventure Kings, we're building Australia's biggest and most active outdoor content community. To keep leading the pack, we need a fast-moving, highly creative Social Media Producer who knows how to spot trends, build an unstoppable community, and turn 4WDing, camping, and off-grid passion into high-converting, viral content across every major feed.
Why This Role Is Different n
You won't just be a "page admin." You'll be:
n
n
- The heartbeat of our digital community across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms.
n
- The creative engine turning product launches, track trips, customer builds, and outdoor banter into scroll-stopping social content.
n
- The trend authority who understands algorithm shifts and knows how to jump on viral moments before they pass.
n
What You'll Actually Be Doing nn
- Plan and execute the daily content calendar across TikTok, Instagram (Reels & Stories), Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
n
- Present on camera across educational/product content, price/deal-based video ads, and live on-the-ground event coverage.
n
- Work closely with our video production and presenter teams to capture, edit, and publish high-energy short-form video on the fly.
n
- Turn user-generated content (UGC), customer trip photos, and real-world 12V/camping setups into authentic social proof.
n
- Write punchy, relatable, Aussie-toned captions that read like a mate giving solid advice - not a corporate pitch.
n
Growth,
Analytics & Trends nn
- Track engagement rates, audience growth, reach, and social-driven web traffic to refine what works.
n
- Continuously test new formats, hooks, audio, and posting strategies to beat platform algorithms.
n
- Keep an eye on competitor moves and digital trends to ensure our brands remain ahead of the curve.
n
What We're Looking For n
You must have:
n
n
- 3+ years of experience managing social channels for a fast-paced retail brand, agency, or digital media output.
n
- Proven track record of growing organic reach, views, and engagement across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube.
n
- Confidence to get in-front of the camera to produce videos.
n
- Solid understanding of social analytics, social SEO, and digital audience behaviour.
n
You’ll Stand Out if You Have: nn
- A genuine passion for 4WDing, camping, touring, or the Aussie outdoor lifestyle.
n
- Experience in fast-turnaround retail, e-commerce, or high-volume product publishing.
n
This Role Is Perfect If You: nn
- Live on social media and get a kick out of seeing engagement numbers and view counts hit current highs.
n
- Know the difference between content that actually drives brand loyalty and content that just looks pretty.
n
- Are agile, quick to react, and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
n
Why Join 4WD Supacentre? n
We move fast, produce massive amounts of high-impact content, and give you the space to back your ideas. You'll work alongside video producers, presenters, and outdoor enthusiasts who share a goal: inspiring everyday Aussies to get outdoors.
n
If you're ready to take the reins on Australia's top outdoor feeds, this is your shot. What role should we write next?
