About the Job n
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic Roller Operator tojoin the Shire of Esperance Rural Construction team. This positionassists with the construction and maintenance of Shire roads; itinvolves working in remote locations.
n
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
n
n
- Undertake plant operator duties, predominantly roller butalso including truck, loader, backhoe, dozer, grader asrequired, and in accordance with the licences held.
n
- Labouring tasks including traffic management, installationof signs, guide posts, etc.
n
- Minor maintenance on machinery.
n
n
This is a full time position working 99 hours per fortnight.
About you n
In order to succeed and thrive in this position, you musthave:
n
n
- 'HR' class driver's license.
n
- Demonstrated experience and skills in operation and maintenance of plant including roller, loader, backhoe, truck etc.
n
- Demonstrated experience and skills in road construction and maintenance or earthmoving environment.
n
- Ability to perform routine mechanical maintenance on vehicular plant.
n
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and with limited supervision.
n
- Physical fitness to undertake the inherent requirements of the job.
n
- Knowledge of Workplace Health & Safety requirements.
n
- Ability and willingness to work in remote locations.
n
Benefits n
Salary :$109,938.59 per annum (including overtime), plus superannuation.
n
Permanent staff are entitled to:
n
n
- 9 day fortnight (Every second Friday off)
n
- 5 weeks annual leave per year
n
- Minimum of 12% superannuation employer contribution
n
- Superannuation co-contribution offered to a maximum of5%
n
