SERP Recruitment is partnering with an established international rail technology and manufacturing organisation to find a motivated junior looking to start a career in rail.

This is a genuine entry-level opportunity, you don't need years of experience or a list of qualifications.
n
You could be finishing Year 10 or above, a recent school leaver, TAFE student or simply looking for your first opportunity in rail or infrastructure.

What you’ll be doing: nn
- Supporting on-track rail activities
n
- Assisting experienced rail personnel
n
- Workshop and production duties
n
- Assembly of rail components and equipment
n
- Using hand and power tools
n
- General practical and manual tasks
n
- Learning new skills and developing your rail industry knowledge
n
- Following rail, workshop and site safety requirements
n
What we’re looking for: n
You don't need extensive experience. We’re looking for someone who:

- Is reliable and willing to learn
n
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
- Enjoys practical, hands-on work
n
- Takes direction and works well in a team
n
- Takes workplace safety seriously
n
- Is comfortable working outdoors and in a workshop
n
- Lives in Bathurst or the surrounding region
n
n
Previous rail experience or a Certificate II/III in Rail Infrastructure would be advantageous but isn't essential.
