This role will mainly involve Supported Independent Living (SIL), with additional shifts available in day programs.
n
In SIL, you will support participants with daily routines, independent living, personal care, meal preparation, household tasks and community access.
n
In day programs, you will help participants to access the community, enjoy activities and work towards their individual goals.
n
Across both settings, you will respect each person's choices and provide support that suits their needs. Shifts include weekday mornings and evenings, weekends, and sleepovers.

- Follow support plans and maintain professional boundaries

About you nn
- Experience supporting people with disability,
including personal care
n
- Certificate III in Disability/Community Services, or equivalent or willingness to obtain
n
- Availability for weekday mornings and evenings, weekends, and sleepovers
n
- A registered vehicle with comprehensive insurance
n
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
n
- Completion of required NDIS worker training modules, or willingness to complete themA current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain
n
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or willingness to obtain
n
- Robust communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
