Preferred Experience: 15+ years of experience

Key Responsibilities n

n
1. Design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications and services using the latest versions of C# and .NET Core.
n
2. Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using the AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) for .NET. You will also be responsible for creating reusable Terraform 2. templates to wrap and deploy C# services.
n
3. Build solutions leveraging a range of AWS services, including AWS Lambda, MSK Connect, Apache Flink, Amazon Neptune, and Amazon Athena.
n
4. Take ownership of the entire development lifecycle, from initial design and development through to testing and deployment.
n
5. Quickly dive into and understand the existing application and codebase, making impactful contributions from day one.
n
6. Proactively identify and implement improvements to our platform's architecture, development processes, and overall performance with a customer centric mindset.
n

Required Skills and Qualifications nn
1. Expertise in C#, .NET Core & CDK.Net
n
2. Demonstrable experience of infrastructure templating with CloudFormation and/or Terraform 3. Experience with implementing OOP principles and design patterns with C#.
n
3. Experience in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful APIs.
n
4. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, TeamCity.)
n
5. Strong working knowledge of at least one database technology; Aurora RDS, Postgres, SQL Server, Documentdb.
n

3. The ability to to rapidly assimilate complex technical information, understand unfamiliar codebases and become productive in a short timeframe.

4. Have a history of successfully delivering complex software proejcts from teh development phase all the way to a production environment.

5. Ability to learn quickly new AWS services and how they fit in the existing architecture.

Nice-to-Have Skills nn
1. A solid understanding of core networking principles and protocols.
n
2. Exposure to AWS data and streaming services such as Amazon Athena, AWS Glue, Amazon Kinesis, Amazon EMR, Amazon Kinesis Data Firehose, or zero-ETL solutions.
n
3. Proficiency in additional scripting languages like PowerShell, Shell scripting (Bash), Ansible, or Kotlin.
n
4. Experience and familiarity working within both Windows and Linux environments.
n
5. Hands-on experience with modern monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or similar platforms.
n
6. Knowledge of database schema migration and version control tools, such as Liquibase or Flyway.
n
