Senior Gardener / Team Leader - Northern Beaches n

As Senior Gardener / Team Leader, you will be responsible for helping lead the team and ensuring gardening jobs are completed to a high standard, efficiently and professionally. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to an experienced gardener who takes pride in their work and is confident organising, supervising and working alongside a small team on site.

Key responsibilities

n

Lead and supervise the gardening team on site, organising daily work and ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

n

Take responsibility for the quality, presentation and overall completion of garden maintenance work.

n

Carry out lawn mowing, edging, hedging, pruning, planting, weed control and general garden improvements.

n

Confidently and safely operate gardening machinery, power tools and equipment.

n

Communicate professionally with clients.

n

Maintain a clean, safe and professional work environment while working hands-on alongside the team when required.

About you

n

Experienced in skilled gardening and garden maintenance, ideally 2-3+ years of gardening experience

n

Confident leading and organising a small team

n

Responsible, reliable and takes ownership of their work

n

Experienced with gardening machinery and power tools

n

Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors

n

Well presented and professional, able to maintain a high standard of workmanship

n

Holds a full Australian driver's licence

n

Previous experience in a senior gardener, team leader, supervisor or similar role will be highly regarded
