Australia Veteran Health Services looking for experienced claims clerks, nurses and administration staff to join their new practice in Springfield Central.

n

Selection Criteria

n

n
- Previous ADF experience (3 years at least)
n
- Understanding of private billing as well as Workcover, MBS and DVA
n
- Understanding or experience with patients suffering from mental illness including PTSD
n
- Knowledge of the Privacy Act and how it affects patient queries
n
- An empathetic nature, and awareness of patient needs
n
- Ability to work in a team and be proactive
n
- Understanding or willing to learn AGPAL / RACGP accreditation standards
n
- Ability to assess patient health records and the various stages of health assessments pre and post discharge
n
- Knowledge of recalls and reminders using Automed
n




- Knowledge and use of online appointments
n
- Excellent understanding of Best Practice and associated software
n
- Current CPR certification
n
- Must be very professional dealing with patients and doctors.
n
- Able to deal with stressful situations. Mature communication style
n
- Maybe required to travel
n

The Practice offers:

We are located in Springfield Centre QLD with available side street parking and close to public transport for convenience.

n

There are multiple positions for casual, part time and full-time roles. Practice opening early August 2021.

n
