We are seeking a reliable and motivated Grounds Person / Handyman to join our team at a well-established holiday resort.

This is a hands-on role responsible for maintaining the presentation, cleanliness and functionality of the resort's apartments, facilities and common areas. The position offers a variety of work including general maintenance, groundskeeping, cleaning, and preventative maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities Grounds & Property Presentation n

Gardening and landscaping duties

n
- n

Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of resort grounds and facilities

n
- n

Pressure cleaning pathways, outdoor areas and common property

n
- n

Rubbish removal and bin management

n
- n

BBQ cleaning and maintenance

n
- n

Daily cleaning of common areas and guest facilities

n

Resort Facilities nn
- n

Pool and spa testing, minor maintenance, and cleaning

n
- n





Assisting with the upkeep of recreational facilities and shared amenities

n
- n

Completing scheduled daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly maintenance tasks

n

Maintenance & Handyman Duties nn
- n

Minor repairs and maintenance within apartments and common areas

n
- n

Furniture assembly, installation and repairs

n
- n

Identifying maintenance issues and coordinating repairs where required

n
- n

Assisting with preventative maintenance programs

n

About You n

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

- n

Previous experience in a grounds, maintenance, handyman, building, school, resort or facilities maintenance role

n
- n

The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities

n
- n

A friendly and professional manner when interacting with guests, owners and contractors

n
- n

Strong problem-solving skills and a practical approach to maintenance tasks

n
- n

High attention to detail and pride in maintaining a well-presented property

n
- n

Reliability, punctuality and a strong work ethic

- n

Physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual work

n
- n

Experience using hand and power tools safely

n
- n

A current driver's licence

n

Desirable nn
- n

Experience working in a resort, hotel, school, retirement village or residential complex

- n

Pool and spa maintenance experience

- n

Gardening and landscaping experience

n
- n

Trade qualifications or a trade background
