The Role n

You will be part of a team dedicated to our residents, contributing to a model of care that goesabove and beyondevery day. Every day you will be making a difference in people’s lives, building fabulous relationships with our residents and their families.

The Location n

Centaur is a Residential Aged Care Home located in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.

Duties include n

n
- n

Laundering, pressing/ironing and folding items such as linen towelling and residents’ garments.

n
- n

Cleaning/kitchen cloths,mopsand garments,

n
- n

Utilising washing, drying, extracting, pressing, folding or other industrial machines/equipment, asrequired

n
- n

Collection and distribution of personal effects mistakenly sent to the laundry

n

The successful applicant nn
- n

Ideally your background will be in laundries or cleaning within aged care or hospitality.

n
- n

You will have good attention to details and

n
- n

Friendly, positive outlook and ability to work in a team

n
- n

Ability to communicate effectively with residents,familiesand co-workers

n
- n





Be reliable and have very good time management

n
- n

Have computer skills to complete all online ongoing training as required.

n

Mandatory for compliance nn
- n

Evidence of valid working rights in Australia

n
- n

CompleteaNational PoliceCheckand or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain) prior to commencement

n
